The project partner PromoTurismoFVG, in collaboration with the Interreg ADRIONCYCLETOUR project, organized, 19 October at Devin Castle, a conference on cycling tourism and UNESCO geoparks. The event featured prominent experts in the field who discussed topics related to the cycling tourism market, territorial promotion, and innovative strategies for developing cycling routes in geoparks, offering examples of best practices and international projects.
Among the speakers, Suzana Fajmut Štrucl, a member of the Geopark Management of the UNESCO Karavanke/Karavanken geopark, presented innovative projects related to sustainable tourism and cycling tourism, such as the cycling route into an old mine under Mount Peca/Petzen, a unique destination for cycling tourism that serves as a reference for immersive cycling experiences and the enhancement of natural heritage.
