The “Interreg GO! 2025” event will take place on March 27th and 28th, 2025, in the cross-border cities of Gorizia (Italy) and Nova Gorica (Slovenia).
The official agenda will be preceded by “Day 0”, scheduled for March 26th, 2025, which will focus on preparatory activities and welcome moments. This day will offer participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the two cities, discovering their historical and cultural context and getting acquainted with the values and objectives of the event.

Additionally, on March 26, as part of Day 0, a special event dedicated to young people will also take place, aimed at promoting their active engagement and participation in topics related to the future of cross-border cooperation. The first day, with the participation of numerous high-level political representatives, will be dedicated to presenting and discussing the key messages emerging from consultations on the post-2027 period, with a particular focus on broader political and strategic perspectives.

The morning will feature three discussion panels:
- Panel 1: Border regions, transnational regions: obstacles and opportunities
- Panel 2: Cooperation & performance: switching a gear

The second day will focus on the 2021–2027 programming period, the results achieved, the promotion of best practices, and lessons learned. This will be a valuable opportunity for exchange and dialogue among programmes.

Interreg program authorities (up to three participants per programme).
Morning Program
The morning plenary session will address the main topics of program implementation, including a general analysis of execution, operations of strategic importance (OSIs), and Interreg-specific objectives (ISOs).
Afternoon Parallel Sessions
In the afternoon, six parallel sessions will take place, each followed by project visits. Participants can choose one of the following themes:
- Tourism and culture
- People to people
- Natural risk management
- Research and Innovation
- Greener Europe and water management
- Health
In addition to visits to EU co-financed projects under the Italy-Slovenia Program, the day will conclude with the celebration of 35 years of Interreg.
