From 10 to 12 October 2024, the Advanced Trauma Life Support Provider Course (ATLS Provider Course) was held at Mariborsko Pohorje. Two general surgery specialists from Izola General Hospital participated in the course.
The participating doctors learn the sequence of procedures for the initial approach in treating critically injured patients. During practical workshops, the course participants engage intensively and resolve trauma cases based on real-life situations.
The participation of Izola General Hospital doctors in the ATLS Provider Course was made possible with funding from the AidMIRE project, Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme 2021–2027.
