Six Italian and Slovenian partners are participating in the 24-month BioTech2Agri project. The lead partner is the ROD Regional Development Agency of Ajdovščina, and the other partners include: Venetian Cluster (IT), Science and Research Centre of Koper (SI), AGRIFOOD & BIOECONOMY FVG Foundation (IT), INFORMEST – Service and Documentation Center for International Economic Cooperation Italy (IT), Primorski Technology Park (SI).
The aim of the BioTech2Agri project, valued at just under 900,000 euros, is to help strengthen European competitiveness by enhancing the level of the agri-food sector.
We aim to achieve this goal by increasing the added value of supply chains for Slovenian companies through the transfer of well-established biotechnologies from Italy, particularly from the Veneto region.
