On 3 September 2025, an online meeting was held with the partners of the SANITAS project, aimed at reviewing the progress of ongoing activities and discussing the next steps of the project.
During the meeting, updates were shared across several areas of work: language training courses, designed to improve communication between healthcare personnel and other operators involved in emergency situations; training courses for emergency vehicle driving licenses; the procurement and testing of mobile healthcare equipment; and communication and dissemination activities to share the project’s results.
In particular, the plans for the coming months were outlined: the analysis of primary healthcare systems in Italy and Slovenia, the start of activities related to cross-border protocols, and the planning of driving and language courses, including possible involvement of associated partners. In addition, communication strategies, informational materials, posters, and the project handbook were presented, together with the collection of updates for the monthly newsletter and the production of a short video about the project.
The SANITAS project continues to work on strengthening the skills of healthcare personnel and improving emergency preparedness in Italy and Slovenia, promoting cross-border cooperation and collaborative work among all partners.
