Among the guests who will take place at the conference titled “Empowering European Democracy - Civic education, cross-border cooperation and multilevel governance for Europe”, organized by the Accademia Europeista FVG, there will be Laura Comelli, Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme.
The conference, taking place on November 6-7, 2025, in the Carlo X Hall of Honour at the Grand Hotel Entourage in Gorizia, will host professors from various European universities, as well as politicians and experts in cross-border cooperation.
The morning of the first day of the event will focus on cohesion policy and European cooperation. Among the speakers there will also be Laura Comelli, Managing Authority of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme, who will present the Interreg Programmes as tools for European cooperation. Other key speakers include:
Barbara Zilli, Councillor for Finance of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia,
