On Wednesday, 5 June 2024 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. with departure from the premises of the Agricultural Forestry Institute Pri hrastu 18 5000 Nova Gorica a professional excursion - tour of good practices of organic farming in Slovenian Istria will be held.

Programme:

Departure from Nova Gorica (Pri hrastu 18) at 8:00. Stop at the Koper branch of the Institute (Ul. 15. maja 17, 6000 Koper).
Visit to the FREŠKO farm, Babiči. visit to intensive organic vegetable production and conservation agriculture practices
Visit to the SOLARI organic farm, Pregara 57. presentation of organic production of aromatic herbs (lavender, rosemary, etc.) and marketing possibilities
Stop for refreshments at the Tonin tourist farm, Puče 48.
Visit to the Rizzier-Černe Gardens, Parecag 115A. Presentation of the challenges and possibilities of growing and marketing organic medicinal plants, e.g. aloe vera
After the visit, return to Nova Gorica.
