On Thursday, 21 March 2024, the partners of the KARST-SAFE Preventive measures for a safe Karst project held their second coordination meeting at the premises of the Municipality of Sežana. In addition to the Municipality of Sežana, which is the lead partner, the project also involves the Sežana Fire and Rescue Service, GAL Carso - LAS Kras, the Municipality of Komen, the Municipality of Duino Aurisina - Devin Nabrežina and the Public Institute for Fire and Rescue Activities - Nova Gorica Fire Brigade.
At the meeting, the project partners presented the activities carried out so far and the content to be reported in the first reporting period, and planned future project activities.
KARST-SAFE is a capitalisation project of the last strategic project CROSSIT SAFER from the previous programming period, through which the partners aim to contribute to the preparation of preventive measures for fire protection in the cross-border area of the Karst, with a focus on the protection of the population and settlements.
