We opened the AGROTUR+ Summer school with a visit from students of the Faculty of Viticulture and Winemaking, University of Nova Gorica, at the Agricultural Institute of Slovenia. Participants were introduced to advanced analytical methods and sensory evaluation of Teran wine. This experience was an excellent opportunity for deepening knowledge and exchanging ideas.
The summer school will continue with a field workshop on precise control and management of diseases and pests, followed by a presentation of good water management practices in vineyards in collaboration with the Irrigavit project. The next event will be in the vineyard, focusing on disease monitoring and precision viticulture, and we will conclude with a seminar for Teran producers on precision oenology.
