On Wednesday, January 29, 2025, the second workshop for representatives of the interest groups of the KARST ADAPT project will take place at the Municipality of Monfalcone, Republic Square 8, Monfalcone (I).
At the beginning, the lead partner will present the KARST ADAPT project and the activities carried out and planned so far.
The LAG Carso will also participate in the event and present the Action Plan and Risk Analysis carried out within the framework of the KARST SAFE project.
The participants will then be divided into two groups and discuss the following topics:
Analysis of existing protective and mitigation measures to reduce the risk of disasters (fires/floods/hail);
Analysis of challenges, resources, and needs of municipalities and stakeholders in the field of civil protection;
Proposals and recommendations for future actions;
Presentation of the results of interactive workshops.
The workshop, to which we will also invite the associated partners of the project, will be led by ISIG.
In the KARST ADAPT project, we aim to connect with other projects co-financed by the Interreg Italy-Slovenia 2021-2027 Programme that address similar topics. We believe that connecting with other partners and projects increases the effectiveness and visibility of all projects.
