New underground waste collection containers have been installed on Pretnerjeva Street in Postojna. The containers are designated for the collection of paper and cardboard, plastic and metal, as well as glass. Postojna now benefits from four underground waste collection containers, enhancing efficiency in waste separation.
This recycling drop-off site has been established within the Waste Design 2.0 project, conducted under the Interreg Italy-Slovenia program and co-financed by the European Union. The project aims to promote sustainable waste management and support the circular economy. As the lead partner, the Municipality of Postojna continues its efforts to foster environmental awareness and sustainable development.
