The first cleaning campaign of the ‘Tegnùe di Chioggia’ site by the Veneto Region, partner in the Poseidone project financed by the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme, took place in August.
The activity took place from 22 to 24 August 2024 and led to the recovery of about 250 kilos of material, allowing 70% of Area 3 of the site to be cleaned.
Fishing gear, cables, ropes, tyres, and even clothing and packaging materials were recovered.
