During the Easter holidays everyone is ready to discover the secrets of... POSEIDONE with the educational staff of the WWF AMP Miramare!

On Thursday 28th and Friday 29th March, from 9am to 1pm, children aged 6 to 10 will be involved in a series of educational workshops at the Marine Biodiversity, to discover a special environment, that of mussel farms, a true biodiversity hotspot, where many species above and below the sea find food, shelter and a safe place to rest at night.

Our expert biologists and naturalists will accompany us on this new adventure in which animated readings await us, a special "egg hunt" of the marine world, an intricate puzzle of stories "to be recomposed", microscopy laboratories in which to observe the rich biodiversity that is hidden inside a remains of mussels, but also small explorations equipped with binoculars to observe the main species of avifauna present along our coast.

This will also be an opportunity to talk about the problems and threats that our sea faces every day, looking for possible solutions for a more sustainable future for the environment and for all of us! Free appointments for the public, with a limited number of places and reservations required by writing to info@ampmiramare.it.

It is necessary to wait for written confirmation of acceptance from our secretariat. Possibility to request the pre-welcome service at 8.30 am at the Marine Biodiversity.
