As part of the BEST project, we are launching a crucial initiative to better understand the needs of local suppliers and help them develop innovative, digital and sustainable strategies. The project partners are currently finalising the preparation of targeted questionnaires that will be distributed directly in the field.
Objectives of the Questionnaire: The main objective of this activity is to identify and get to know local suppliers in the cross-border area between Italy and Slovenia, collecting fundamental information on:
- Their ability to innovate and use digital and green technologies;
- The specific needs of local actors for their development;
- The future challenges they might face in a context of sustainable growth.
Through this questionnaire, we aim to build a detailed mapping of local suppliers, creating a solid data base to guide subsequent project activities. The results collected will allow us to plan targeted training programmes designed to strengthen the entrepreneurial and technological skills of local operators.
An opportunity to involve local suppliers
The survey is also a valuable opportunity to involve key stakeholders in the cross-border area, stimulating their interest in training programmes and promoting collaboration in the creation of innovative and sustainable pathways. By filling out the questionnaire, local stakeholders will have the opportunity to make their voices heard, actively contributing to the project and receiving support to address their challenges.
Next steps
The questionnaires are now in the final stages of processing and will soon be distributed to the identified stakeholders. The responses we will collect will not only paint a clear picture of the current skills and needs of local suppliers, but will also be the starting point for situation analysis in the next project work package.
Through these actions, BEST intends to bring together suppliers from the Italian and Slovenian cross-border area, supporting them in the construction of an integrated, innovative and sustainable tourist and cultural offer.
Stay tuned to learn more about the results of this survey and the future training activities that will follow!
