RECREATE IN SPINEA (VE) is the waste collection campaign dedicated to CFR (fiber-reinforced composite) waste in the Municipality of Spinea (VE) thanks to the RECREATE project funded by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Program.
The waste collection takes place on the following dates and locations:
- April 20 and 27, May 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Mobile Collection Center, Municipal Stadium Allende Parking Lot (Villaggio dei Fiori), Spinea (VE) for all citizens.
- From April 15, 2024, to May 24, 2024, through dedicated containers placed by VERITAS at the school premises of the following institutes: COMPRENSIVO DANIELA FURLAN with Primary Schools "C. Goldoni", "A. Mantegna", "I. Nievo", "A. Vivaldi", Secondary School "G. Ungaretti", ISTITUTO COMPRENSIVO MARGHERITA HACK with Primary Schools Marco Polo, Anna Frank, Secondary School "Giambattista Vico" and ISTITUTO SUPERIORE DIEFFE.
The initiative aims to promote the adoption of broader recycling and recovery methods through the inclusion of urban CFR waste and the activation of a circular economy process with the active involvement of citizens, who have received the informational flyer attached to their bill and through informative activities in schools. The project is carried out in collaboration with VERITAS SpA and the Consiglio di Bacino Venezia Ambiente.
Tennis rackets, skis, sleds, canoes, helmets, irrigation pipes, slides: these are some of the fiber-reinforced composite waste that can be brought to the collection days.
