On the 332nd anniversary of Giuseppe Tartini's birth, the partners of the TARTINI BIS project will pay tribute to the Piran composer and violinist with a rich program of events, which will take place between Piran, Trieste, and Venice.

We kindly invite you to the workshop "Path breaking lab: why and how to work on Tartini" which will be held on the 9th April 2024 at 3.00 p.m. at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice, Room 117 (Sestiere di San Marco 2810, Venice).

  • Federico Lanzellotti: The Tartinian Sources of the Conservatory Library in Venice: from material study to digitisation

  • Paolo da Col: The Sacred Vocal Production of Giuseppe Tartini: sources and style

  • Juan Mariano Porta: The Case of the "Sonatas for Violin and Cello or Cymbal" Op. I (Amsterdam 1734)
