On September 10, 2024, IML-PRO and the Agrifood & Bioeconomy FVG Foundation were guests at the University of Udine (UNIUD, DI4A) for a technical meeting on the supply chain mapping and capacity-building activities of the DAIRY+ project. The research institutions provided an update on the design of the pilot action for whey valorization, which they are currently working on, and which will be completed by early 2025. Additionally, the guidelines for workshops for sector operators to be held next year were defined, focusing on key topics of interest for the target groups.
Following the meeting, there was a preview visit to the new agri-food research laboratory that will also house the pilot plant for whey concentration that the University of Udine plans to acquire for its experimental activities.
