The conference will present ways of protecting and conserving natural areas, methods of their management, examples of best practices in protected areas management, and the challenges and positive impacts of areas management.
The conference will be carried out in the framework of the GRENNAT project Green Infrastructure and Natura 2000 Network for Sustainable Cross-Border Development, co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme.
The workshop is organised as part of Activity D 2.2 "Review of the state of governance of the Natura 2000 network".
The conference will be held in Slovenian, with individual presentations from the Italian side in Italian. Interpretation will be provided.
