Third Steering Committee Meeting of the RECREATE Project in Trieste

The third Steering Committee Meeting of the RECREATE project is scheduled for Monday, September 2nd. 
This meeting is an important opportunity for in-person discussion among the involved partners. The meeting will be held in Trieste, a city chosen for its strategic location, positioned between Spinea (VE), Slovenian cities, and Pordenone, the Lead Partner’s headquarters.

During the meeting, several key topics for the continuation of the project will be addressed. The agenda will include, first of all, the presentation and approval of the deliverables for the second reporting period, with a maximum of 10 minutes allocated for each:

• Polo AA will present the waste catalog and the safety database.
• URES will handle the transportation guidelines and the first dissemination event for companies.
• URES will also lead a joint discussion on the acquisition protocols for companies and propose any modifications if required
• Comune di SPINEA will illustrate the public campaign and the protocol for municipalities.
• GEES Recycling will present the work on waste identification and treatment and the training activities.

A joint discussion will also be dedicated to the report on waste collection and treatment and the catalog of circular products, in case the documents are not ready.

After a coffee break, the meeting will continue with the planning of the third period of the project, which will cover the period from September 2024 to February 2025. In this phase, timelines and responsibilities for the following activities will be defined.

A session dedicated to financial reporting will follow, conducted by PoloAA, followed by a Q&A session with the partners.

The meeting will conclude from 12:45 to 13:00 with a discussion on any issues and important feedback to be reported to the Lead Partner.

To close the meeting, the participants will gather for lunch at Ponte Rosso.

This meeting represents a crucial moment to consolidate the work done so far and plan future activities, strengthening collaboration among the partners and facilitating the achievement of the RECREATE project's objectives.
