The DAIRY+ project, co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme, is pleased to announce an important day dedicated to cross-border collaboration and the development of the circular bioeconomy in the dairy sector.

The event will be held at the Rizzi Library (University of Udine) and will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the second partnership meeting, where project progress and upcoming objectives will be presented. Topics to be discussed include management, communication, and capacity-building activities, along with the planning of pilot experimentation activities for the next six months.

Starting at 12:00 p.m., participants will have the opportunity to meet members of the Cross-Border Stakeholder Group (CBSG) during a networking lunch, followed by the CBSG’s first official meeting from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In this session, group members will be introduced, initial results presented, and an interactive discussion will take place to gather ideas and insights for future steps.

The day will conclude with a visit to the LARA and LABAS laboratories at the University of Udine. In particular, the LARA lab will host the pilot project, aimed at developing innovative solutions for the valorization of dairy sector by-products.
