MEDS GARDEN+ activities during the Rose Festival in Portorose

SENSORY EXPERIENCE WITH MEDITERRANEAN PLANTS
Program of activities at the MEDS Garden+ stand As part of the Festival of Rose 

We invite you to visit the MEDS Garden+ project stand on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., where we will present the richness of the Mediterranean plant world in an interactive and engaging way.
Visitors will be able to participate in various activities, discover, smell, and taste Mediterranean plants, and receive practical advice for their own gardens.

What will happen?
• Sensory recognition of Mediterranean plants and seeds
• Advice on growing and planting Mediterranean plants
• Presentation of plant hydrosols
• Tasting of seasonal Mediterranean fruit
• Exhibition of Mediterranean plants
• Presentation of the MEDS Garden+ project and the network of six Mediterranean gardens between Slovenia and Italy 


The event will take place on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Rose Festival in Portorož, at the MEDS Garden+ project stand.


Participation is free of charge. Slovenian and Italian-speaking staff will be available in the exhibition area.
