Koper, October 21st, 2024 - A National Information Day was held in Koper to present the Call for Standard Projects No. 3/2024 of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme. The event was organized by the Ministry of Cohesion and Regional Development, Slovenian National Contact Point, in cooperation with the Joint Secretariat and the Managing Authority of the Programme. Opening remarks by the representative of the Slovenian National Authority, Danica Å antelj Arrighetti, and the Managing Authority, Francesca Sibilla, were followed by a presentation of the call for proposals.
The new call, which has more than 10 million euros available, aims to fund cross-border projects for the prevention and management of risks related to climate and environmental change and joint intervention measures in the event of natural disasters. The meeting was an important opportunity for potential Slovenian applicants to learn in detail about the possibilities of applying for the call and preparing a project proposal. The National Audit Office also presented eligible expenses for subsequent project reporting, and the Joint Secretariat explained the application process in the Jems system. Questions from participants and a brief networking session followed.
