ODEC is an international project using dance and performing arts to explore the cross-border conurbation of Nova Gorica and Gorica. The project involves the organization of eleven performances in eleven historically significant sites created by some of the most significant contemporary choreographers. The performances compose a route in stages that winds between the two urban cores, constituting a dynamic and fluid experience of the city by inhabitants and visitors.The project contributes to the strategy of Nova Gorica-Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025 by promoting a single open city without borders, involving citizenship, and promoting tourist attractiveness.
