Coordinated call
The Coordinated Call is a joint initiative developed within the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM), involving ten Interreg programmes in the Mediterranean area with the objective of strengthening the capitalization of project results and promoting their transfer, adaptation, and dissemination in new territorial contexts. While sharing a common methodological framework and coordinated participation principles, each participating programme publishes its own call with specific rules, timelines, and documentation for beneficiaries within its respective cooperation area.
To submit a proposal, projects must identify an output developed under another programme participating in the MMM and demonstrate how it will be reused, adapted, or further developed in a new territorial context, thereby contributing to the capitalization and valorisation of Interreg cooperation results.
Coordinated Call Information Events
On 16 June 2026, a joint event was held to present the Coordinated Call of the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism, during which the functioning of the mechanism, the common methodology, and the opportunities offered by the participating programmes were presented.

Call Timeline
Below is the indicative timeline of the calls that will be progressively launched by the programmes participating in the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism.
Opportunities for Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme Beneficiaries
The Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme will not publish its own call within the framework of the Coordinated Call of the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM). However, programme beneficiaries may participate in calls published by other programmes participating in the MMM, provided they comply with the eligibility requirements established by each call.
Among the planned calls, beneficiaries of the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme may capitalize on outputs generated by Italy–Slovenia projects through calls published by the Interreg Italy–Croatia and Interreg Euro-MED Programmes, thanks to the compatibility of their respective cooperation areas. Participation modalities and eligibility criteria are defined in the respective calls.
Programme beneficiaries may also participate in calls published by other programmes, according to the rules and conditions established by each programme.
Further information on the Interreg Italy–Croatia and Interreg Euro-MED calls is provided below.
