The winning team from the Liceo linguistico Scipio Slataper (Gorizia) took part in the awarding ceremony on the 27th March at the Teatro Verdi in Gorizia, during the first day of the main event “Interreg GO!”.
The Director of the Directorate general for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission (DG REGIO) Slawomir Tokarski and the Managing Authority of the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme Laura Comelli awarded the students with a study trip to Brussels, which took place from May 5 to 8, 2025. The experience allowed them to understand that the European Union is not a distant entity, but a tangible reality that directly affects the daily lives of its citizens.
The teams that ranked second and third had the opportunity to visit the Programme Area and some projects funded by the Programme. The excursions were organized and financed as part of the project Kohezija za vse / Coesione per tutti: Brez meja / Senza confini (a project organized by the PiNA Association for Culture and Education and funded by the Directorate-general for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission under the call Information Measures fo the EU Cohesion Policy - IMREG).
