The Tartini Cross Border Youth Orchestra, established within the framework of the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia TARTINI BIS project, brings together over twenty musicians under the age of 30 from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, North Macedonia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro.

This visionary initiative serves as a cultural bridge between two countries united by the invaluable legacy of Giuseppe Tartini’s work, while also providing a prestigious platform for the advanced musical training of young talents. Inspired by the European spirit that Tartini himself embodied through his pioneering School of Nations, this youth orchestra stands as a model for cross-border dialogue, inclusion, and cultural openness.

The orchestra made its debut in September 2024 with a four-concert tour crossing the border between Slovenia and Italy, with performances in the cities of Piran, Moggio Udinese, Venice, and Trieste.
