Cultural and Creative Industries have been recognized as an important factor for the cultural revitalization of cities and regions. They are also recognized by the United Nations as a fundamental element of cultural diversity. Associated with them are cultural services that facilitate their dissemination, expanding their socio-economic impact.

The workshop intends to reflect on the redevelopment of architecture and abandoned landscapes, adopting cultural and creative industries as a starting point for developing change.
It will focus on Kajzer Park as a case study, remembering the multifaceted creative figure of Pier Paolo Pasolini, who lived in this area almost a hundred years ago.

Speakers: Marco Acri, Peter Purg, Tina Smrekar, Nika Bronič, Nika Jeromel (University of Nova Gorica)
