The BLUECRAB project is organizing a meeting and study visit in Koper for project partners, associated partners, and the interested public.
On Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 14:00, a discussion on the impacts of the invasive blue crab species (Callinectes sapidus), a presentation of the BLUECRAB project, and a discussion on the establishment of the Blue Crab Observatory will take place at the Pretorian Palace.
On Friday, May 30, 2025, at 9:00, a press conference will be held at the Pretorian Palace. Afterwards, project partners will visit the Marine Biology Station Piran and the Škocjanski Zatok Nature Reserve.
On Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:30 onwards, as part of promotional activities at the Saturday market in Koper, opportunities for the culinary use of the blue crab will be presented.
Interpretation between Slovenian and Italian will be provided in both directions.
