Tuesday, 10 February, the final event of the CONCERTO project, funded under the Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme, will take place at the Aula Magna of the IRCCS Burlo Garofolo Maternal and Child Health Institute in Trieste.
The study day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will focus on some of the main research areas in the field of paediatric immuno-rheumatology.
In the afternoon, at 2:00 p.m., Professor Christian Hedrich will deliver a Lectio magistralis entitled “Chronic Non-Bacterial Osteomyelitis: State of the Art”, providing a high-level scientific update on a topic of major clinical relevance.
The event represents a key opportunity to review the results achieved during the 30 months of activities of the CONCERTO project, building on the foundations laid by the Cattedra Project. Together, the two projects have established a virtuous model of cross-border cooperation between Italian and Slovenian professionals, aimed at shortening diagnostic times and improving care pathways through the international exchange of expertise, experience, and best practices.
The meeting will feature a strong technical and scientific focus, while offering significant value in terms of its concrete impact on the quality of care and assistance provided to paediatric patients, the ultimate goal of this shared research effort.
