You are cordially invited to the play Sekret, presented by the “Ga pihnemo” Theater Group of Podnanos, as part of the BEroots project Between Rivers and Lagoons: Artistic Routes. The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Program.
The event will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 8:30 PM at the Kulturni dom “Jožef Češčut” at Via I Maggio 73 in Savogna d’Isonzo.
The play “Sekret,” directed by Ljubo Frelih, is set in a village where the inhabitants make their living from agriculture. The Kmetčevi and Lenivčevi families live nearby and help one another. After various twists and turns, the neighbors agree to build a communal outhouse. At night, some of the village’s drunken residents return from the tavern and place a scarecrow in the outhouse.
The theater group Ga pihnemo, which operates under the Podnanos Tourist Association, was founded in 2006 and today has 15 members, performing throughout Slovenia.
