You are cordially invited to the event “From Tradition to Contemporary Souvenirs – Development Day for Local Artisans and Providers,” organized by the Tolmin Museum within the DANTE project.
The event will take place on Thursday, 26 February 2026, at 16:30 at the Tolmin Museum, located at Mestni trg 4, in Tolmin.

PROGRAMME:

16:30 – 17:30 Theoretical and practical insight into souvenir development
The role of storytelling, local identity, and visual expression in souvenir creation

17:35 – 19:00 Experimental workshop based on the principles of the New European

Bauhaus A hands‑on approach to designing souvenirs on a selected theme

The lecture and workshop will be led by dr. Jana Vilman, a design management expert who integrates concepts of design and tourism.

The event will be held in Slovene. A parallel event in Italian will be organized at a later date.
