The partners of the RE-ACTIVE project invite you to the Participatory Academy, aimed at representatives of local authorities and other decision-makers responsible for the prevention and management of the consequences of natural disasters. The aim of the academy is to strengthen the public sector’s capacity to plan resilience strategies through the involvement of the local population.
The academy will present various approaches to engaging citizens in activities to prevent and respond to the consequences of natural disasters. Timely and appropriate engagement of residents provides valuable information, contributes to risk reduction and, at the same time, empowers the local community to respond more effectively in the event of a disaster.
The academy is aimed at Slovenian organisations; it will be held in Slovenian with the option of consecutive interpretation into Italian.

The academy will take place partly in person and partly online. The in-person part will be held at the Kozina Business Incubator (Mestni trg 5, 6240 Kozina).
