The Kras-Carso II project is organizing a Training course for guides in the Kras–Carso Geopark area for the coordinated interpretation of the area’s literary heritage, with a special focus on Srečko Kosovel. The event will take place on Saturday, 7 March 2026, at 2:00 PM, with the meeting point in front of the Kosovel Cultural Centre in Sežana.
Program:
14:00-15:00 Guided experience “In the Footsteps of Kosovel” with an interpretation of Kosovel’s poetry; meeting point in front of the Kosovel Home in Sežana (led by Mateja Kralj, Ljudska univerza Sežana)
15:00-17:30 Guided experience “The Golden Boat”, interpretative guiding (led by Nina Peče Grilc, Zavod Škrateljc)
18:00-19:00 Presentation of Kosovel’s room and the renovation of the Kosovel homestead, in Kosovel’s Room in Sežana (led by Mateja Kralj, Ljudska univerza Sežana)
19:00-19:30 Light refreshments in the foyer of the Ljudska univerza Sežana
The event will be held in Slovenian, with interpretation into Italian provided. Participants will receive materials at the end of the event. The event is free of charge.
