On April 10, 2025, a new edition of the EPILS course (European Paediatric Immediate Life Support) was held at the Training Center of the Ospedale dell'Angelo, in Mestre, Venice. The course was aimed both at employees of ULSS 3 Serenissima and at staff members of other AidMIRE project partner organizations.
The EPILS course aims to improve healthcare professionals' skills in managing critical situations involving infants and children, such as cardiopulmonary arrest, shock, and respiratory emergencies, to optimize clinical outcomes.
By training together with the partners of the AidMIRE project, the goal is to achieve uniformity in skills, knowledge, and communication. Thus, if healthcare professionals from different regional settings find themselves responding to mass emergencies involving also infants, they can be as coordinated as possible to act quickly and effectively together.
