On January 27th -28th 2025, a new edition of the ITLS courses was held at the headquarters of the PP2, AULSS 3 Serenissima, in Mestre Venice. These courses are organized for ULSS 3 Serenissima and other AidMIRE partners’ employees.
ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) is one of the most distinguished among globally recognized organizations developing guidelines on the management of trauma patients in out-of-hospital settings and in non-conventional scenarios.
These advanced training courses for healthcare professionals are internationally recognized and adhere to the same educational framework employed by Slovenian partners in the field of out-of-hospital emergency care. As such, they serve as a standardized tool and shared language for coordinated intervention and rescue efforts, particularly in the context of cross-border maxi emergencies.
Similar to other advanced training initiatives carried out I the framework of the AidMIRE project, these courses aim to equip professionals from the various partner institutions with uniform knowledge and skills, ensuring unity, preparedness, and effective coordination.
