On December 18th, 2024, the first edition of the WINFOCUS courses was held at the training school headquarters of Partner 2, ULSS 3 Serenissima, in Mestre (Venice, Italy). These courses were organized for ULSS 3 and other AidMIRE partners’ employees.
The WINFOCUS – ULTRASOUND course’s aim is to provide essential skills in managing major emergencies, such as the use of point-of-care ultrasound to improve clinical performance, management, and outcomes in critical settings.
The use of ultrasound in preventing, diagnosing, monitoring, and treating critically ill patients enables the identification of critical point-of-care ultrasound scenarios and the assessment of technical, clinical, organizational, and social competencies for its effective use.
One of AidMIRE’s goals is to align the skills and knowledge of the involved partners so that they carry out a consistent and coordinated response in case of major emergencies along the Italy-Slovenia border.
