On 9 May, we celebrate Europe Day, dedicated to the values of peace, cooperation and unity that lie at the heart of European integration.
On this date in 1950, Robert Schuman proposed a new form of collaboration among European countries, marking the beginning of a process that would lead to the foundation of the European Union. Today, Europe Day reminds us of the importance of working together for a shared future.
The Interreg Italy–Slovenia Programme contributes to this effort by supporting projects that strengthen ties between Italian and Slovenian communities, promoting sustainable development, shared culture and active citizenship.
To mark the occasion, we published a special video on our social media to celebrate 35 years of the Interreg Programme - watch it at this link.
