Nova Gorica, 2 July 2025 - The kick-off meeting of the CycleProMotion project, which brings together six project partners from Slovenia and Italy with the aim of developing smart and sustainable cycling infrastructure in the cross-border area, took place at the premises of the Development Agency of the RRA Severna Primorska.
The meeting was attended by representatives of all partner organisations: the RRA Severne Primorske, PromoTurismo FVG, GECT GO - EZTS GO, BSC Kranj, GOLEA and GAL Carso. In the introduction, the partners presented their organisations and related and complementary projects, which allowed to jointly identify synergies and to build on existing activities.
The overall project, budget, deliverables and work packages were presented. Key management actors were also identified.
A steering committee was set up and the leaders of the work packages (WP1-WP4) were identified.
The meeting concluded with a press conference to present the main orientations of the project to the wider public.
