Within the DigARegion project, a support point was established with the aim of providing assistance in ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
The objectives of the support are:
- Active communication with stakeholders in the field of digital accessibility.
- Notifying stakeholders about specific accessibility issues and encouraging the correction of errors and the achievement of compliance.
- Promotion and awareness-raising about the importance of digital accessibility.
- Guiding public bodies and their contractors in the implementation of accessible digital solutions.
- Conducting rapid general technical analyses and compliance testing with WCAG 2.1 / 2.2, which will serve as the basis for direct communication with stakeholders.
The support point is available to all interested public and other entities at: info@dostopnovsem.org.
Within the DigARegion project, a web portal on accessibility (dostopnovsem.org) was also established, where interested members of the public can find, in addition to general information on accessibility, guidelines and practical recommendations that help organizations, companies, and individuals create environments, information, and digital solutions accessible to everyone, including persons with various types of disabilities. On the portal, the guidelines are divided into three main areas: architectural, informational, and digital accessibility.
The aim of the guidelines is to provide clear, actionable instructions and examples of good practices that can help improve the accessibility of your premises, documents, websites, and services. Each guideline is structured to enable quick understanding, practical application, and connection to additional resources.
