Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, together with the Municipalities of Izola and Ceggia, successfully organised a 𝘧𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴-𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘦 for licensed tourist guides operating in the cross-border area.
The training consisted of two online sessions and three on-site days, offering participants the opportunity to explore for the first time the 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 developed within the DANTE Project.
During the online sessions held on May 14 and 28, 2026, experts from the tourism, academic, and communication sectors provided methodological and content-based insights into the itineraries, with a specific in-depth analysis of the storytelling methodology.
The subsequent on-site sessions – held in Friuli Venezia Giulia (24 June 2026), Izola (4 June 2026), and Ceggia (17 June 2026) – provided field simulations, enabling guides to visit selected stops and test what they had learned during the previous sessions.
The module offered a concrete step toward enhancing cross-border literary places in Italy and Slovenia!
