We invite you to the final conference of the Karst Firewall 5.0 project, where we will present the key results of cross-border cooperation in the fields of wildfire safety, climate resilience, and the development of digital solutions for early wildfire detection and management in the Karst region.
The project brings together partners from Slovenia and Italy with the aim of increasing the wildfire resilience of the cross-border Karst area through the use of advanced technologies, artificial intelligence, satellite monitoring, drones, and the inclusion of local communities and preventive landscape management measures.
The conference will present:
- results of monitoring using satellite imagery and drones,
- the use of predictive algorithms and the integrated wildfire management platform,
- strategies and guidelines for reducing wildfire risk,
- the importance of local communities in ensuring long-term landscape resilience.
