Trieste, 27 November 2025 – On 27 November, Trieste hosted the final press conference of the European AidMIRE project (Aid for Medical Interventions in cross-border Regions of Europe) at the headquarters of ASUGI, funded by the Interreg Italy–Slovenia programme.
The event marked the official closure of a cooperation path that, over the past years, strengthened healthcare response capacity in the border areas between Italy and Slovenia.
One of the key moments of the event was the signing of official protocols by the General Directors of the involved health authorities, as a testament to the concrete commitment to stable and sustainable collaboration between the two countries.
The Trieste meeting follows the Final Conference of the project, held on 10 October 2025 at the SS. Giovanni e Paolo Hospital in Venice, which brought together representatives of European institutions, health authorities, and project partners.
