On Tuesday, 11 November 2025, the first session of the World Café participatory workshop of the DANTE project was organised by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region, at Fondazione Friuli in Udine, gathering together 40 regional stakeholders.
The event focused on the presentation of the eight winning projects of the DANTE Call in Friuli Venezia Giulia, along with two successful and inspirational cases of literary tourism. The first presentation highlighted how publishing on tourism-related topics must be based on the belief that literature is an essential instrument for gaining a deep understanding of places and people. The second presentation, on the other hand, focused on the literary itinerary dedicated to Ippolito Nievo.
The meeting offered participants the opportunity to explore innovative approaches, good practices and future perspectives in a sector where culture, creativity, and local identity come together to shape new forms of attractiveness.
