On Wednesday, 17 June 2026, the “Gravisi” Italian Multimedia Centre in Koper hosted a day of meetings dedicated to presenting the Centre and its potential in the fields of education, culture and tourism. The initiative brought together, in two separate sessions, representatives of the educational institutions of the Italian National Community in Slovenia and the National Education Institute of Slovenia, tourism operators, destination promotion organisations and stakeholders involved in the enhancement of the cultural heritage of the cross-border area.
Participants had the opportunity to visit the Centre, explore its multimedia and interactive installations, and learn more about the opportunities for cooperation and development that this new cultural and tourism facility offers to the various sectors involved.
The meetings provided an important opportunity to discuss the role of the “Gravisi” Italian Multimedia Centre as a place dedicated to the preservation, promotion and dissemination of the linguistic, historical and cultural heritage of the Italian National Community in Slovenia and Croatia, fostering new synergies with institutions and local stakeholders.
The activity was carried out within the framework of the PRIMIS PLUS project, co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme 2021–2027.
