As the holiday season approaches, the BioTech2Agri project partnership would like to extend its warmest wishes to all partners, stakeholders and members of the community who have followed and supported the project’s activities throughout 2025.
The year now coming to a close represented an important phase for the project, marked by the consolidation of its knowledge base and the launch of concrete tools to support biotechnological innovation in the agri-food sector of the Italy–Slovenia cross-border area.
2026 will begin with key milestones: on 9 January, the call dedicated to agri-food enterprises will close, while from February onwards the project will move into the core phase of support activities for the selected SMEs, through tailored support pathways, technology transfer and networking initiatives.
During the second half of 2026, public events for discussion and sharing of project results are also planned across all the territories involved, with the aim of enhancing the value of the experiences gained and strengthening dialogue between businesses, research institutions and innovation stakeholders.
The BioTech2Agri team will continue to update the project website and communication channels with information on upcoming initiatives.
