On Monday, 16 June 2025, the Institute for Ethnic Studies in Ljubljana officially inaugurated a new multimedia room, which will serve as a space for promoting multilingualism, cultural diversity, and inclusive communication.
The event took place within the framework of the PRIMIS PLUS project (Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia 2021–2027).

The attendees were addressed by Mr. Maurizio Tremul, President of the Italian Union and lead partner of the project, Prof. Dr. Sonja Novak Lukanović, Director of the Institute for Ethnic Studies, Martina Budin from the Slovenian Cultural and Economic Association, and H.E. Giuseppe Cavagna, the Italian Ambassador to Slovenia, who emphasized the importance of dialogue and cooperation in preserving cultural heritage in his speech.
