The Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia Programme 2021–2027 is participating again this year in the Interreg Cooperation Day , a European initiative to celebrate and raise awareness of the benefits of cross-border cooperation.
Launched in 2012, European Cooperation Day is celebrated every year around 21st September and involves all Interreg programmes, which organise events, activities and meetings aimed at the general public. The aim is to raise citizens’ awareness of projects funded by the European Union, showing in a concrete way how cooperation contributes to sustainable development, innovation and shared growth between territories.
For the 2025 edition, the Italy-Slovenia Programme is showcasing a unique calendar of events organised by our projects, which will take place throughout September across the Programme area. Each event is designed to actively engage local communities by making the outcomes of funded projects visible and promoting key European values such as cooperation, inclusion, and solidarity.

This is a good opportunity to learn more about the projects funded by the Interreg VI-A Italy-Slovenia programme, meet the partners, participate in cultural, environmental or informational activities, and understand how cooperation between Italy and Slovenia is contributing in shaping a better a future.
