The 56th meeting of the International Research Group on Wood Protection (IRG WP) took place from 22 to 26 June 2025 in Yokohama, Japan. The meeting was also attended by a delegation from the Department of Wood Science and Technology at the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Ljubljana. They presented the vision of the WoodInnovate project through a poster that addressed the pressing challenges facing the forest-wood value chain in the Alps-Adriatic region, which are intensifying due to climate change.
