A rich program of events on the occasion of the 390th anniversary of the start of tourist activity in Vilenica and the 60th anniversary of the reopening of the cave.
Join us in celebrating the 390th anniversary of the first tourist visit to the Vilenica Cave and the 60th anniversary of its reopening, when members of the Sežana Speleological Society took over its management. Come and discover the mysteries of the Karst underground, take a nice walk in the Karst landscape, learn about the heritage of the Karst people and much more. Come and experience the Vilenica cave during these beautiful festive days!
Requests to participate: Due to the limited number of places available, it is necessary to book the excursions and visits to the cave at: sezana@visitkras.info, while for the cross-border bicycle excursion Trieste-Bazovizza-Vilenica Cave, please book at: curiosidinatura@gmail.com until all places are available or up to 3 days before the event. In case of bad weather, the side events will be canceled and you will be informed in due course. Free visits to the cave will be held regardless of weather conditions.
All events take place at the Vilenica cave and provide free admission for all visitors.
