On Wednesday, June 12, 2025, the event titled “In the Name of Dante: Between Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Soča Valley” was held in Tolmezzo with the guest being the President of the Fondazione de Claricini Dornpacher from Bottenicco di Moimacco near the town of Cividale del Friuli.
The gathering proved to be a true cultural journey through territories and history, exploring Dante's presence in the cross-border region. The discussion focused on the precious Codex Claricinensis of 1466, a unique witness to the connection between the “divine poet “and Friuli, alongside the origins and development of the Dornpacher Foundation and its cultural promotion initiatives.
The event was organized in the scope DANTE Project, co-financed by the European Union under the Interreg VI-A Italy–Slovenia Programme.
